I’m Luis Filipe Fraga, a Brazilian Senior AI Systems Engineer and independent creator based in Seoul, South Korea.
For more than eight years, I have worked across artificial intelligence, computer vision, software engineering, and product development. My work focuses on turning complex research and ideas into reliable systems that can be used in the real world.
I currently lead and develop production AI solutions at Noul Co., Ltd., with a focus on medical imaging and diagnostic systems. My wider professional journey has also included healthcare technology, smart manufacturing, automotive systems, and consumer digital products.
Alongside engineering, I have remained deeply involved in research and international collaboration. In 2025, I presented first-author research at MICCAI and was named an Honorary Citizen of Seoul in recognition of contributions to innovation, cultural exchange, and civic engagement.
Abdiflame Studio is where my technical and creative paths come together. It is a home for original games, digital products, experiments, and worlds such as Wrath of the Ancients — projects shaped by strategy, storytelling, design, and curiosity.

How I got here.
Computer Science & early technology experience
Studied Computer Science at the Federal University of São Paulo while gaining early experience with enterprise technology, automotive systems, product strategy, and digital platforms at organizations including Embraer, Hyundai Motor Company, and SK Communications.
Graduate study in South Korea
Moved to Seoul through the Korean Government Scholarship Program and completed a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Soongsil University, researching machine learning and genomic data.
World AI Competition finalist
Represented Brazil in the World AI Competition, finishing first in Brazil and third globally.
From clinical diagnostics to edge AI
Developed production computer-vision systems for clinical microbiology and smart manufacturing at QuantaMatrix and Vivity AI.
Production AI for healthcare
Designing and developing production AI systems for medical imaging, hematology, and infectious-disease diagnostics at Noul Co., Ltd.
Engineering and creativity together
Presented first-author research at MICCAI, received the Honorary Citizen of Seoul distinction, and continued growing Abdiflame Studio as a home for original games and digital products.
Since 2022, I have also supported foreign residents in Korea as an Immigrant Education Mentor with the Ministry of Justice.

Outside my professional work, I design games, develop original card-game worlds, build digital products, and explore new ways to combine technology with visual storytelling.
Abdiflame Studio grew from that curiosity — a place where engineering discipline and creative experimentation can exist side by side.
And away from the screen, I enjoy exploring Seoul and spending time with my dog, Ninha.
